Four years ago I taught 2nd graders and had for five years. For now the Lord has me staying home with my babies. I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I have been married for 8 years to my best friend who just happens to be a football coach. We have four precious baby girls who keep us very busy. I love to spend time with family, craft, bake, cook, watch football, and whatever else comes up. I am hoping to start up a baking business with cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. I hope you enjoy reading about our life as much as I am enjoying blogging about it!

Letter C

We finished letter C today!  I let them paint!  Oh sheesh!  I seriously need to learn to relax sometimes.  They had fun and there were no messes that couldn't be cleaned easily.  To finish our letter C we read the book Little Cloud by Eric Carle.  It about a cloud who separates from the group of big clouds and changes into different things.  In the end Little Cloud comes back to the group and they all get together and it starts to rain.  Very cute!  So we painted clouds with the letter C.  They loved it.  The best part was when they stamped the paper with the C it made a bubble with the paint that then popped and splattered little dots of paint on them.  Of course that is what would be the fun part!

Adda showing her Candy pj's.  She made sure I knew that Candy said the C sound.

 Great job Tater!

Adda kept telling me she didn't want any empty space in her cloud!
Oh, this is Adda's new around the house hairdo.  Her hair is in a crazy, wild, all different lengths stage and this keeps it out of her face!
 Counting caterpillars
 Caterpillar patterns
 Sorting caterpillars
 Matching caterpillars
 Caterpillar number line
They retold the story to me!  They are showing me "way up high"!
Little Cloud turned into two trees.
 It's raining, it's pouring!

Pumpkin Cupcakes for a Halloween Party

Today I took the girls to a Halloween party at one of the coaches houses!  Amy has done this party for three years now.  She has a big table set up for the kids to decorate pumpkins, a bounce house, and lots of treats!  Adda had a good time!  She was super sweaty by the time we left.  I am so ready for real Fall weather!

Here are the cupcakes!  They turned out really cute!

 Ready to go!
 Bounce, bounce, bounce!!!

 Girls only bounce time!
Adda playing a little football with the older girls!
Her hair was wet with sweat!
Here is her cat pumpkin!

It was great fun!  Adda was worn out!  After we left we drove up to the field house and Adda took all the extra cupcakes to the coaches!  She was so proud to share the "pumcakes" with them!

Superman Cake for a Super Boy!

Today my nephew Luke turns five years old.  I can't believe it!  I remember like it was just yesterday when he was born.  He has grown up to be such a sweet boy.  He is energetic, protective, and loyal!  I look forward to watching him grown into a young man.  I see things in him that are Lee, which I know makes my brother so proud!  Happy Birthday Luke!  I hope you enjoyed your Superman cake!

Here is the cake as I was starting the decorating.

Turkey Shirts

I have been a blogger slacker the last few days.  For some reason this has been a pretty crazy week.  On Tuesday Adda, Ella, and I all went to the doctor.  Ella got her second flu shot, I got a flu shot, and Adda had an ear infection!  Sure as we got home from picking up Adda's prescription I started feeling sick!  I felt like I had the flu.  I know they say you can't get the flu after having the flu shot, but I sure felt like it.  Luckily I had a z-pack and started taking it that night.  I love the z-pack!  I wish they grew on trees!  Seriously!  It works for me and because I'm allergic to penicillin it's about all I can take.  It's safe while nursing too!  When I say I wish it grew on trees I am not kidding, at all!  So it's Thursday night and we all getting better!  This time of the year is sooo lovely with all the sickness that floats around.

I finished working on these super cute shirts for Adda, Ella, and my niece Leah.  If you love it let me know and I can make one for your sweet little turkey!  $25 if I provide the shirt, $20 if you provide the shirt  I got these at Old Navy for $6!

Sorry for being a slacker this week!  We have lots going on over the weekend so I will have lots to post!  Also, there will be a really good giveaway soon!  Keep checking back for details!
